Fulani people, though scattered all over Nigeria, originated from some particular states. They are mostly known for cattle and cow rearing. But that’s not all there is to know about these people. Fulani is a recognized tribe in Nigeria.

Where are Fulani people from?
Fulani people come from the Northern part of Nigeria. They mostly occupy the following States in the North:
- Gombe
- Sokoto, and
- Kastina
Also, you can meet these people in

- Benue states.
Most of Fulani groups are of the nomadic type. They don’t reside in a particular place for long. Cattlemen who move from territory to territory along with their cows, sheep, and goats belong to this group.
