NYSC to investigate Finance Minister’s Exemption Certificate
The National Youths Service Corps (NYSC), has said it would investigate the purported exemption certificate allegedly obtained by the Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun.
The NYSC Director of Press and Public Relations, Mrs Adeyemi Adenike, in a statement, revealed this while reacting to reports that the finance minister allegedly forged an Exemption Certificate which was also cleared by the National Assembly during her screening in 2015.
The statement confirmed that Mrs Adeosun applied for exemption. But didn’t say anything regarding when the application was made and what decision was taken on it.

RE-EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE OF THE HON. MINISTER OF FINANCE, MRS. KEMI ADEOSUN
Our attention has been drawn to the issue of the alleged forgery of an NYSC Exemption Certificate by the Honorable Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun.
Checking our records, Mrs. Adeosun did apply for an Exemption Certificate.
We shall investigate the origin of the purported Exemption Certificate in question.

Meanwhile, The minister has been on the news for the past few days now over alleged NYSC certificate forgery.
While so many people including the opposition PDP have called on President Buhari to sack his minister over the allegation.
Others have also called on the minister to resign from her position as finance minister, adding she is not qualified to occupy such key sector.
