The award-winning Nigerian musician, Dapo Oyebanjo who goes by the stage name Dbanj, has lost his one-year-old son to the cold hands of death.
Daniel Oyebanjo lll was the only child of Dbanj and his death was a terrible and tortuous one.
It was reportedly gathered that late one-year-old Daniel, was said to have drowned in a swimming pool located in their house in Ikoyi.
The sad event tabloid learned, happened on Sunday, June 24, 2018.
One of the sources who revealed the incident stated that ” popular Nigerian musician Dbanj and his wife, Lineo Didi Kilgrow have lost their only child, Daniel Oyebanjo III who was one year old. “He drowned at Dbanj’s Ikoyi residence on Sunday.”
The deceased corpse another source said it has been deposited in the morgue at GRA, Ikeja.
Reacting to the incident, the Koko Master-Dbanj took to his Instagram page to write: “ Trying Times. But my God is Always and Forever Faithful.
He has also changed his Instagram display photo to an all black picture.
Dbanj we learnt was not in Nigeria when his baby died. He was in Los Angeles, United States of America for the 2018 BET Awards.
He had celebrated his first birthday barely a month ago.
