Estimated Billing: The Federal Government yesterday ordered the Nigerian Electricity Regularly Commission (NERC), to stop the estimated electricity billings following lots of complaints from consumers.
It said the commission should enforce the contract mandating power distribution companies to provide meters to customers and eliminate estimated electricity bills in the power sector.
